Minutes of Committee Meeting held at Lordswood Leisure Centre on Wednesday, 1st May 2013 at 7.30 p.m.
1. COMMITTEE:

K.C.F.A. Ltd. Appeal findings Oak Athletic/MMYL 23/04/13. The appeal by Oak Athletic was dismissed by the Board of Appeal.

The Committee discussed the document and mandatory changes at length.
Horsted Youth would like to thank all the committee members for a very well organised U/15 League Cup Final. It was a great day out and enjoyed by both players & supporters.
Well done it was so very well organised.
Wigmore Youth request explanation why the U/7s were not included in the Annual Sportsman voting. The decision was due to the organisation of this age group given they had a change of league structure mid season. As this will also apply to other age groups next season the committee will review the awards for 2013-14 season.

Pegasus 81 club secretary, Carl Becconsall has new e-mail address
New Member Clubs 2013/14 season: The Committee agreed that they will not be recommending any new clubs to the membership for next season. This is to enable the Committee to concentrate on the implementation and delivery of The FA Youth Development Programme for existing member clubs. It was felt that the committee cannot manage any new clubs next season due the amount of additional work anticipated by the fixture format and competition requirements.
4. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT:
It is with regret I have to report the death of Mr Colin Dalgeish president of New Ash Green football club. Colin was the founder member of NAG over thirty years ago the club first joined the Snodland league until it closed down then they joined the Medway league. Colin served NAG as secretary, chairman and president. I know that league members will join me in sending our condolences to his family.

10.ASSISTANT REFEREES SECRETARY’S REPORT:
My report this month starts with a well done to Nigel Sheepwash who refereed an U11,s game on the 21ST April, and I passed on to him with my congratulations as well, here is the report from Pegasus 81 U11’s:
‘Please could you pass on my thanks through the league to Nigel Sheepwash todays referee at under 11’s Pegasus 81 V’s Sheerness East match. Nigel was faultless in his decision making and was brilliant with the boys and officials from both teams. Also he took time out at the end of the game to ask the players from both sides if they had any questions about the decisions he made and that he would explain why he had made them. Really refreshing.’
It is nice to see this sort of comments and I urge all clubs to write in if your referee does well, as it does boost their confidence and makes them better referees, instead of knocking them down. All of the mentoring has nearly been completed with only 1 referee to get mentored completely, and 20 referees have been fully mentored and qualified for next season, hopefully I will be able to do some training in the summer to help them, I am enjoying the Cup Finals at the moment and there have been some exciting games, so I congratulate those teams so far that have won, commiserate with those teams that have lost, and wish all of the other teams good luck in the games that have yet to be played
