Working as theMediaHubGraduateIntern,this roleis basedwithintheMediaHub attheUniversityof Sunderland.

TheInternshipisafulltimepost,currently fixed term until 20th May 2018.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillberecruitedby SunderlandInternFactoryLtdandthenplacedforthelengthofthecontractwithintheMediaHub,Facultyof Arts, Design andMedia.

TheInternship:

This is a fantastic opportunityfor a newlyqualifiedUniversity of Sunderland graduatetoconsolidateand further developtheirskillsandcompetenciesinamultimediajournalismenvironment.Therolewouldsuitagraduate of an NCTJ-accreditedjournalismprogrammewhoalsohas someexperienceofsocialmedia.

Working as a GraduateInternwithintheMediaHub,themain purposeofthis roleisthreefold:

•Assist in the management of MediaHub websites and associated social media platforms, covering
fashion, news and arts & entertainment

•Inspire, coordinate and edit student contributions to the above websites

•Contribute to a culture of innovative digital storytelling in a vibrant and collaborative newsroom environment
