Sea Star Films Announces New Documentary, The Ultimate Wedding Planner

Never one to conform, Nojiri (and his rock star, hard-partying ways) landed him in the Japanese tabloids, to the dismay of his company's stodgy board. Following some soul-searching, he realized he needed to go international and transition into the West. The Ultimate Wedding Planner transports you on a globetrotting journey—from Tokyo and Okinawa to Maui and L.A.—that reveals every aspect of Nojiri's passionate, hands-on, detail-oriented approach to showcase how and why he has become the biggest wedding planner in the world, now producing an average 22,000 weddings a year as well as lavish events for such luxury clients as Armani, Audi, Cartier, Dior, Ferrari, and Moët. Also, as one of the documentary's several highlights, the filmmakers got exclusive access to KISS rocker Gene Simmons' and Shannon Tweed's sumptuous vow renewal ceremony in Maui, which was designed by Nojiri.
The Ultimate Wedding Planner is scheduled to be released in May and will run through the film festival circuit.
