Scope of Auction Event
All items for the auction are related to promoting your business or organization. The auction will help you offset your marketing budget and give you an opportunity to try a new advertising media platform.
Items will appear in the same order at the auction as they are printed in this information packet.
5:30pm: Registration and viewing Vendor table top displays
- Guests will pay a $5.00 entrance fee and will receive a $5.00 voucher good at the concessions counter
- Cash bar provided by Movies at Meadville
- All guests will receive a bidder number, bidder packet, a list of donors, and a contest punch card
- Enter the movie theater to view event sponsor table top displays
- Guests should visit each display to have their punch card punched. They can then return to the chamber staff to enter a prize drawing
6:00 – 8:00pm: Auction
- Auctioneer: C. Sherman Allen
- Each item will be auctioned off one at a time
- Starting bid for each item will be 10% of retail value
- Items will go to the highest bidder
- Purchaser must abide by all terms put forth by the item donor
Following the auction
- Those that have won an item will make their payment at the checkout table
- Items will be in the form of certificates that are to be used for the media purchases
- All forms of payment are accepted: Visa, Master Card, check, and cash.
