  • Interdepartmental work group to discuss FTA site visits

  • Interdepartmental committee regarding revisions to MBTA Baby Stroller special order
  • Interdepartmental work group on enhancements to Reduced Fare CharlieCard program
  • Monthly meeting of the Access Advisory Committee to the MBTA (AACT)

  • Presented “How Can I Help You Today?” training for front-line MassDOT employees

Design and Engineering Activities:

  • Reviewed plans/drawings/specifications; submitted comments on:
  • Sidewalk reconstruction on Massachusetts Avenue bridge above Orange Line
  • Architectural drawings of stations from the archives for review by the Federal Transit Administration:

Customer Complaint Tracking Activities:

Internal Access Monitoring (IAM) Program Activities:

  • 8 Monitors conducted 34 trips throughout all of fixed route system (26 Bus; 1 Subway; 3 Commuter Rail; 4 Stations)
  • Continue generating internal monitoring report for Q1-10 & Q2-10
  • Reviewed 107 completed monitoring forms
  • Scanned 86 completed monitoring forms
  • Forwarded 1 violation to Operations for investigation
  • Created 28 reports consisting of results from the IAM program’s 2010 study

Reduced Fare CharlieCard Program Activities:

  • Issued 1031 reduced-fare CharlieCards:
  • 639 Senior CharlieCards
  • 367 Transportation Access Pass (TAP) CharlieCards
  • 20 Blind Access CharlieCards
  • 5 “THE RIDE” CharlieCards
  • Reviewed 214 Transportation Access Pass CharlieCard applications
  • Processed 168 account deposits for customers of the MBTA Paratransit program THE RIDE
  • Provided reduced-fare CharlieCards to MBTA customers in coordination with the Dover Senior Center
