As we'll be driving down, we'll need parking close to the house/apartment. Somethingup to $400-$500 or so per month price range preferably.

We need to move on this in the next couple of days as we have found a studio apartment available, but would prefer something with a bit more space.

All of our rentals require a $250 (USD) refundable damage and security deposit, plus the first and last months rent. To secure your booking, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit on the first month rent, which can be directly deposited into our bank in Mazatlán. There is a $20.00 USD cleaning charge on all rentals.

Utilities: water is always included, propane gas (cooking and hot water) is covered in some units, electricity is always billed by CFE (the national electric company).

Rental rates are based on double occupancy only.

sheryll, my name is oscar and i will be heading to mazatlan in about ten
days in order to finish furnishing and remodeling an apartment/condo i
recently purchased on Calle Angel Flores, near the Comision Federal de
Electricidad - about 2 blocks from the CFE.
the apartment is a 1-bedroom. it has a new refridgerator which i installed
when i was in mazatlan about a month ago. i will be installing ceiling fans
and also have plans to install a washing machine -- i would also like to
install a clothes dryer but am not sure if space will allow. i will be
purchasing a bed -- nothing smaller than a full size mattress. it has hot
water.
the apartment is on the 3rd floor. it is in an older apartment building
which was recently converted to condominiums - a total of 6 or 7 condos
makeup the building. the tenants/owners are long-time residents of the
building and are either families or retired elderly mexicans.
i am asking $500 dollars per month rent and this will include all utilities.
as far as parking goes, when i was last there in mazatlan, i stayed in the
apartment and was parking on the street and had no problems. i believe
there are "pensiones" near by (walking distance from apt) if you'd rather
not park on the street. i will look into this as soon as i get back.
if the stairs are not a problem for you, your husband and your dog, i
believe the apartment will fit your needs.
