Matrix seating full system
A customised body support system, giving a proven versatile approach to
seating for chair bound clients.
The Matrix system offers a versatile and proven approach to the
management of seating for chair bound clients and is used by
seating experts throughout the world. It comprises of simple,
modular components, which can be custom-fitted to almost any
shape or size of client and offers the following advantages:
Custom fitted for preventative and corrective body support.
Casting process using a soft casting bag to minimize
discomfort and reduce appointment time.
Easily adapted to allow for client's growth or changing
requirements.
Easy assessment of fit through open Matrix.
Good cooling properties benefiting clients with heat retention problems.
Ability to target additional pressure relief material in vulnerable areas.
Permits incorporation of integral headrest or armrests.
Ability to incorporate pressure relief cushions i.e. Roho.
Quickly attachable to wheelchair or buggy using a simple interface.
Can be interfaced to almost all wheelchair types.
Machine washable padded upholstered covers, available in a wide range of colours.

The seating module consists of 3 elements:
There are a number of options available to meet individual needs including headrests,
removable pommel, seat cushions, contoured work trays and various footrest configurations.
The unique MATRIX design reduces long-term cost by allowing the chair to 'grow' and change
with the client, eliminating the need for regular replacement. Our trained Matrix seating
engineers can carry out adjustments on-site.

Matrix backrests
Matrix backrests are suitable for more active clients who only require Thoracic support.
They can be fitted into a wide range of manual or power wheelbases and can be permanently
fixed in place, or removable with the use of V-Trak fixings.
Fixed backrest
Removable backrest (V-Trak fixings)
Backrests offer the added benefit of adjustable recline (subject to wheelbase prescribed).
They are fully upholstered and are available with a separate and removable headrest.
All backrests can be used in conjunction with pressure relieving cushions such as Roho & Jay 2.

Made of strong 6mm ABS plastic.
Individually made to eliminate fowling on front wheels.
Can be supplied with waterproof foam padded base cushion or super soft foam foot bag.
Can be fitted to wheelbase footrests or with smaller size seats can be attached to Matrix frame.
Foot straps or padded ankle straps can be fitted (except with foam foot bag).
