The schedule is as follows:
8:30 – 8:45 Elementary Number Sense (4th and 5th) 11:35- 12:15 Team Test (4th and 5th )
8:55 – 9:35 Spelling (4th and 5th ) 11:30- 1:30 Lunch
9:45 – 10:35 Elementary General Math (4th and 5th) 1:30 - 2:30 Awards
10:45- 11:25 Elementary Science (4th and 5th)
Parent Expectations:
- Parents must sign the registration forms for each meet, giving permission for their child to participate. Once a parent signature is obtained, your child will be registered for the selected event(s). TISD will pay registration fees for students who register with their coaches by the deadlines established.
- If a parent signs the registration form and their student does not show up at a meet, fees will be assessed. For “no shows”, parents will pay $5 per test/event in which their child was registered. So please only sign up if you know you will be able to attend.
- It is the parent(s) responsibility to get the student to and from the event. You need to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the testing time.
- Make sure your child brings study material to work on.
We welcome parents to stay and help monitor students and help grade tests. You do not need to stay for the whole competition. Students may leave once they are finished testing.
Awards are at 1:30. Individual trophies or medals will be awarded for first through fifth, and ribbons will be awarded for sixth through tenth place. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 teams of the elementary division. Ten points will be awarded for first, nine for second, and so on with tenth place receiving one point.
If the students want to bring money, a concession stand with snacks, pizza, and beverages will be available during the tournament.

General Math Number Sense Science Spelling Team Test
Team Test-A challenging test made up of grade level specific questions where up to 4 students can form a team and work on the problems together. Coaches will form teams once we know who wants to participate.
