*Daily calendar should include awareness of concepts such as time, money, place value, patterns, ten frames, months of the year, shapes, graphing, and skip counting to help ensure understanding by the end of the year.

*Pacing guide is to ensure consistent timing of assessments by topic for report cards.

*At the end of each topic, select a mode of assessment from the following: book test (modified as needed) or teacher-created county tests

Modified Test means using the textbook test but omit questions not related to the VA SOLs.
