Key terms:

Knowledge of archaeological and ethnological heritage related to marine activities, with special emphasis on naval architecture and traditional and palaeotechnic navigation, as well as submerged and coastal archaeological techniques linked to marine activities (salt marshes, ports, dry docks, coastal deposits, etc.).

  • Ability to analyse and interpret (30%)
  • Ability to transmit knowledge (20%)

Assessment instruments:

  • Commentary of iconographical text and/or written source. Written exercise.
  • Elaboration and defence of project. Oral presentation in class.

Marking criteria:

  • 50% for each activity
