St Patrick’s Parish Anniversary Celebrations
As part of St. Patrick’s Parish, Carbonear 175th Anniversary celebration, on Tuesday, May 10th , 2016 there will be a Pilgrimage to the Holy Doors at the Cathedral in Grand Falls-Windsor. A DRL coach has been chartered at a cost of $20.00 per person. Bishop Daniel’s will celebrate mass and lunch will be provided. If you would like to come along, please register by calling the parish office at 596-5232 as soon as possible.
Saint Anne’s Devotions – Father Guy Desrochers, C.Ss.R
Thursday, May 19th @7:00 pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Carbonear. These devotions consist of a mass and Homily in honour of St. Anne, a candlelight procession and the veneration of the Relic of St. Anne. Special stress is given to the prayers for the sick, the afflicted and for peace. Please come along and bring a friend.

Baptismal Preparation
Baptism preparation is May 12 at 7:00 pm at St. Patrick’s Parish, Carbonear. Please call the office to register. No dates available from Immaculate Conception Parish until further notice. ThankYou.
Marriage Preparation Course
The Diocese of Grand Falls requires (1) six months notice must be given prior to marriage (2) the couple to follow a marriage preparation course which is approved by the diocese.
.Grief Retreat
Immaculate Conception Parish will be offering a Grief Retreat, May 19, 2016 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. All those who are experiencing the loss of a loved one are welcome. To register please contact Father Clem or the parish office. This is an opportunity to honor in a prayerful way the memory of your loved one.
Cemetery Liturgy Services
Cemetery liturgy services are scheduled as follows: Kilbride – July 5th, Mt. Carmel – July 12th, Belvedere – July 19th, Holy Sepulchre – July 26th. Visitors are advised that the Blackmarsh Rd. entrance to Holy Sepulchre cemetery will be closed to traffic beginning in May. Visitors to the cemetery must enter and exit via the two entrances off Topsail Road.
