Position Summary:
If you are an RN with emergency nursing experience and are looking for your next challenge, consider the Trauma Program Manager. If selected, your focus will in include coordination of nursing care for trauma patients receiving services at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Tacoma General Hospital as designated Level II Trauma Centers. Scope of responsibilities include development and application of standards and research to enhance quality of patient care, case management of trauma patients, supervision of Trauma Case Managers, implementation and evaluation of performance improvement, and development of effective working relationships with all system providers, particularly the Trauma Medical Directors and Trauma Care Line Director.
Qualifications:
· Three years experience in emergency nursing
· Experience in education program development
· Yearly continuation education in trauma and related topics
Evidence of:
Clinical expertise in the practice of trauma nursing, successful managerial experience, excellent interpersonal skills, experience in teaching and quality assurance, experience in Education program development.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
· Current WA RN license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, required
· Masters in Nursing with appropriate trauma subspecialty, preferred
· ACLS, PALS or equivalent instructor, preferred
· CATN or TNCC and ENPC certification required/instructor, preferred
· CEN desirable
· Membership in professional organization(s)
Compensation:
The starting base salary for this position is $86,550 per year. This job also offers a benefits package.
