MarlaBay Protective Association Neighborhood and Beach Courtesy Guide

- Please respect the beach front owners and their privacy and property.
- Please respect your neighbors and their privacy and property.
- NO STREET PARKING IS ALLOWED!
- DOGS: Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Excessive barking or howling must be controlled by the owner. No dogs are permitted on the beach from June 1st to September 1st from 10am to 6pm. Please use the provided Mutt Mitts available at each beach access.
- NOISE AND NUSIANCE: Please keep it down after 10:00 pm.Be kind to the neighborhood.
- SPEED LIMIT: The speed limit in MarlaBay is 15 mph and you MUST STOP at all stop signs. The South end of Lakeshore to Freel Drive is ONE WAY ONLY EXITING MARLABAY!
- No fuel or contaminant storage on the beach over night.
- The beach is for day use only! Please do not leave beach paraphernalia (chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers, etc) overnight unless you have approval from the beachfront owner(s).
- Please do not park your boats or Seadoos on the beach for extended periods of time.
- Personal watercraft may be anchored for day use only.
- Boaters, please watch for swimmers. There is a Coast Guard Approved 5mph no wake zone within the buoy field for a reason. Boats in excess of 10 horsepower need to adopt a straight in straight out policy from the buoy field to the beach.
- Trash…Pack it in and Pack it out! Please use the association trash cans at the top of each access point. All residents must comply with the DouglasCounty bear proof trash container ordinance.
DO NOT USE THE ASSOCATION CONTAINERS FOR RESIDENTIAL TRASH.
- Music. Keep it to your self. Not everybody likes your style of music. Be considerate.
- PLEASE USE CAUTION: There is no Lifeguard on duty. Please keep a watchful eye on your children and others.
- The beach is for MarlaBay residents and their guests only. If you see someone who looks out of place please ask them nicely if they belong there and whom their associated with. If they are not supposed to be there ask them to leave or the authorities will be summoned.
- We like to see the stars at night. Please put exterior lights on timers or motion detectors so not to disturb your neighbors.
We have a great community beach and would like to keep it that way. Please be considerate of others and please help police the area. If you need assistance you can contact one of the board members to help diffuse the situation.
