In this performance task you will research one primary industry in Canada.

Step 1 Industry Summary

Decide which primary industry you would like to research. Find some information about the industry using the Internet or other sources. Complete a 5W+H (who, what, when, where, why and how) chart to summarize your information.

Step 2 Pictures and Diagrams

Find 3 to 5 pictures, maps, or diagrams that show something about the industry. Make sure to include captions to explain what each item shows.

Step 3 Article

Find one newspaper, magazine or online article about your industry. Write a one-paragraph summary of the article.

Step 4 Poster

Make a poster with your 5W+H chart, pictures and diagrams, and article and summary. Add a title and any other information that you think is helpful. Attach the marking scheme to the poster and hand it in to the teacher.
