KEY DUTIES
The Marketing and Membership Director contributes to Argyle’s success by leading efforts to increase membership, deepen relationships with our members, and enhance member engagement, through strategies and programs to achieve active membership growth and retention. The Marketing and Membership Director is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for finding prospective members, signing-up new members, and developing a relationship with members to improve retention. Specifically, the Marketing and Membership Director will
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Argyle Country Club with the purpose of identifying a pipeline of prospective members
  • Proactively engage prospective members to close new member deals
  • Assess the need for and make recommendations regarding membership classifications to help ensure that the needs of ever-changing markets are met.
  • Help new members develop relationships within the Argyle community
  • Work with member committees to improve the Argyle experience
  • Develop and implement programs, projects and activities designed to increase and retain membership in the club. Ensure coordination to achieve maximum enjoyment for members using the facilities and attending events
  • Nurture relationships with current members to ensure retention and member referrals
  • Represent the club in its relationships with numerous external constituencies, including the Chamber of Commerce, Realtors, Homeowners Associations, and other organizations.
  • Develop and maintain processes and procedures ensuring a unique, efficient, and friendly means by which visitors become members, including developing adatabase for tracking visitors from their first visit through their Argyle experience as members,
  • Develop (as needed) and maintain a member database
  • Recruit, train, and evaluates subordinates as may be applicable
The Marketing and Membership Director is a member of the Argyle management team (if this is correct)

  • Applicant must possess a passion for providing high quality Member service and commitment to exceeding expectations
  • Previous country club and/or business development experience required
  • Degree in Marketing-related area preferred
  • Marketing / sales experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software
  • Social Media and Newsletter/Web/Print Production experience a must
