MUA Communiqué
May2011
WELCOME TO MUA’S MONTHLY NEWSLETTER:
HELP US HELP YOU!!!
With everyone busier than ever & submissions coming in faster than ever, please provide your underwriter with target / “need by” dates on your submissions.
This will help ensure your underwriter responds to you within the timeframe you need.
If you do not know, we understand. A “best guess” is always helpful.
We are excited to announce that our MUA forms are now available to you online on our website @
You will need a secure web login to access, so please contact us and/or your underwriter to obtain that information.
We have updated all of our applications & are available on our website (
Please make sure you pick up the most current version.
Also NOTE we do not require our application.
In order to offer the best options for our customers and to continue to expand our product offerings, we are extremely pleased to announce that MUA has added another market.
Effective immediately, we will also be underwriting on behalf of United States Fire Insurance
Company, part of the Crum & Forster Group.
United States Fire Insurance Company is AM Best rated A admitted in 49 states (soon to be 50), the U. S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
This additional market in no way affects our relationships with both Century Insurance Group and our Lloyds facilities. We value both these relationships and will continue to write business in all of our facilities.
Friendly Reminders:
*Please continue to send in your new and/or renewal submissions; keep in mind that in order to bind we will need completed questionnaires & brokerage agreements. If you would like a questionnaire / brokerage agreement and do not have one already, please contact Mike Hartley @
*Please send ALL new and/or renewal submissions to OR directly toyour underwriter.
*All premium payments should be made directly to MUA. If you have any questions regardingaccounting/billing matters, please contact Kim Hartley –
