  2. A member of the public spoke to the HRC regarding the insufficient number of public restrooms in the County of Marin.
  3. A member of the public spoke to the HRC regarding the disproportionate ethnic population in the County of Marin Prison. – see attachment
  4. A member of the public spoke to the HRC regarding status of the new HRC and concerns – see attachment.
  1. MLK Event Update
  2. Funding of the $5,000 contribution needs to be processed. The contribution will back up the confirmation of the HRC’s participation in Marin Grassroot’s “Be the Dream” Breakfast..
  3. Chris and Gina to work on apress release announcing the public’s invitation to the “Be the Dream” Breakfast, with a link to Marin Grassroot’s ticket sale site.
  4. Chris to use Keysha Andrews as her Marin Grassroot’s contact.
  1. Work Plan and By Laws Review
  2. Motion to have January 12th meeting start at 6pm and include a lesson on the Brown Act and Robert’s Rules, and Juan Lopez . GF/KC m/s/p GF, KC, NJ, CL, CM – aye. KW – abstained.
  3. Motion to table the Work Plan and the By Laws Review until January 12, 2015 by NJ, no seconded motion.
  4. Motion that a By Laws Review Ad Hoc Committee will review the most recent By-Laws and draft a rough draft to bring back to the HRC. Commissioners: CM, CL and KW would make up the By Laws Ad Hoc Committee. CM/Gf m/s/p unanimous
  1. Open Time for Commissioners
  2. CL announced an Affordable Housing Work Shop at the Civic Center, put on by the Community Development Agency for the Board of Supervisors on December 15, 2015.
