Marcia Geser, LCSW-C
Marcia Geser has 25 years of experience following a Master’s degree from Loyola college in psychology and a license as a certified social worker. She has functioned as a psychometrician, administering neuropsychological, cognitive and personality testing. She has also had extensive experience as an outpatient psychotherapist with both adult and adolescent populations. Her style is interactive and cognitive, although it is evident that treatment is to mirror the needs of the patient.
A wide variety of psychiatric disorders are part of her treatment experience. Those disorders include depressive disorders, anxiety, women’s issues, personality disorders, bipolar disorders, attention deficit/hyperactive disorders, grief counseling, couples and family issues are part of her repertoire.
She has worked as both an individual and group therapy practitioner and presently offers options for both modalities of treatment. Recently certified as a Maryland State, court sanctioned mediator, she enjoys non-biased dispute settlement as a new challenge to her clinical skills.
