Q. Where is March for Babies Spokane held?

A. March for Babies will be held atthe Gonzaga Jundt Art Museum Lawn Area. 202 E Cataldo Spokane, WA

Going North on Ruby, Turn right on Desmet, the Art Museum will be directly down this road

Q. Where do we park?

A. Parking is available right in front of the Art Museum or at any nearby lots. There is no charge for parking in the lots the day of the event however street parking you will need to pay the meter as normal.

Q. How long is the walk route?

A. The walk route is a nice 3 mile stroll through Riverfront park on the Centennial Trail. We will start and finish at the same location.

Q. Are strollers allowed?

A. Yes, strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs are allowed. Roller skates, bicycles, and skateboards are not allowed due to safety concerns.

Q. Are pets allowed?

A. Yes, as long as they are kept on a leash at all times. Please also come prepared with materials to pick up after the pet.

Q. Can I turn my donations in at the walk?

A. YES! If you are unable to make it to Bank Day on April 26thor have additional funds to turn in, donations are accepted at the Registration tent beginning at 9:00 AM. If you are a team captain, please come prepared with your envelope printed with the name of each fundraising walker’s fund designation to ensure proper account crediting.

Bank day will be held April 26th at Bank of America at 804 N Monroe from 10am-2pm, bring your donations in this day and pick up your t-shirt early! (t-shirts are for walkers who raise over $200) If you turn in your money at bank day you will not have to register at the walk site.

Q. Is there a “registration fee”?

A. We do not have a registration fee but ask that all participants commit to a minimum contribution of $25. Please know that it is through fundraising that the March of Dimes is able to advance our mission.

Q. What incentives are there for individual fundraising?

*Choice of Macys or Kmart Gift Card

Q. What do I wear?

A. We’ve ordered a sunny day for March for Babies, but just in case, be prepared for cold, windy or rainy weather. March for Babies will take place rain or shine. Remember, mornings can be chilly in Spokane. We recommend bringing umbrellas, gloves, hats, wind breaker and sunglasses.

Q. Will there be activities for children at the walk?

A. Yes, there will be lots of fun activities for children both before and after the walk along with music and entertainment. Plan to enjoy the day with us!

Q. Are team photos free?

A. Yes, please plan to get a photo of your team before the event. Beginning at 8:30am photos can be taken right by the start line where the balloon arch is. Photos are taken on a first come first serve basis. Your team photo will be emailed to you a couple weeks after the event by our photographer.

Q. Can I collect donations after the walk?

A. Yes, donations count towards your March for Babies fundraising until December 31, 2012. You can mail donations to our office located at 222 W Mission #119 Spokane, WA 99201
