JOB MISSION / PURPOSE:
To ensure effective mobilization and engagement with refugee and host communities for full and active participation in all program activities.
KEY FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS
Stakeholder Management
  1. Mapping out and document profiles of all existing refugee and host communities/ organizations for program implementation as guided by the program implementation plans.
  2. Networking with refugee/host community leaders for effective mobilization and participation in line with planned program activities.
  3. Mobilizing community participation in planning and implementation processes of all planned activities at the community level.
  4. Conducting regular meetings with community members to discuss program planned activities and implementation.
  5. Coordinating and mobilizing for distribution of NFIs and any other distribution as planned in the program plans.
  6. Identifying community issues/challenges and come up with measures to address these issues/challenges for effective implementation of the program and advise management accordingly
  7. Supporting the community services team in defining the methods of community participation that ensure the greatest possible participation of vulnerable groups-PSN.
  8. Documenting the best practices implemented, success stories and case studies at the community level for dissemination and learning.
  9. Collaborate with partners and ensure that beneficiaries are aware of the existing referral system and any complaints mechanisms.
  10. Disseminating appropriate and timely information to the beneficiaries and management at large as guided by the activity plans.
  11. Conduct regular coordination meetings with the host and refugee community leaders to ensure comprehensive approach to community mobilization and networking.
  12. Providing a lead in the development of community mobilization strategies, work plans and budgets.
  13. Compiling timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and specific activity reports.
  14. Managing all community volunteers and ensure they get all their entitlements and support as guided by the program budgets.
Records Management
  1. Maintaining proper and updated records on all community structures identified and profiled for future reference and easy access.
Support to other teams and sections
  1. Contributing to the coordination of the integrated protection activities in the settlement and other interventions to promote protection.
RISK MANAGEMENT
  1. Identifying, assessing, reporting, and developing of strategies to mitigate against risks that may happen in the communities and other programs of the sections.
COMPLIANCE
