«The Siberian Journal of Special Education» - the official periodical. The founder, the publisher – Federal state budgetary educational institution of higher professional education «V.P. Astafiev Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University».
Periodicity - four times a year. The Journal publishes scientific materials reflecting achievements in the field of general and vocational education on specialties: general pedagogy, psychology, correctional pedagogy and special psychology, sociology, medicine, biology, psychophysiology, etc. To the publication are accepted articles on pedagogical, psychological, social, biological and medical sciences.
All submitted papers are refereed.
The journal publishes results of basic and applied research with comments, opinions, reviews of monographs, training materials.
It is expected a discussion of specific problems and areas of the system of special education in the thematic forums.
Following the results of a year a CD with journal archives is dispatched to leading libraries of Russia. The authors can request the materials of the Journal.

Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the Russian State Standard: GOST Р7.0.5 – 2008. (download).

Article Body Format
Regular articles should follow these guidelines:
• Microsoft Word format
• Times New Roman font, size 14; List of References – size 12
• All sections of the manuscript (including quotations, references, tables, and footnotes) should be 1,5 spaced with at least a 2 cm margin on all sides.
• The preferred length of manuscripts:
research articles - 4-20 pages
abstracts - 2 pages
brief research reports - up to 3 pages
review - 3-5 pages
announcement - 1-2 pages

• Title of paper
• First name, middle initial, and last name of author
• Abstract maximum 150-200 words
• Keywords – no more than 10
• Article body

Abstract Content
• It should have an intro, body and conclusion.
• It highlights major points of the content and answers why this work is important, what was your purpose, how you went about your project, what you learned, and what you concluded.
The editor-in-charge is responsible for obtaining reviews and deciding on the disposition of all manuscripts (acceptance, rejection, or requests for revision).

Ethical Standards
Submission of a manuscript to our Journal while that paper is under review by another journal is unacceptable. Presentation of a manuscript in electronic form on the Internet is considered to constitute publication and may be grounds for rejection of the paper by this Journal.
