MANUKORIHI INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL UNIFORM

The Manukorihi Intermediate school uniform has been created with the ongoing review by our Board, staff and school community. Our students wear their school uniform with pride. We do our best to keep the uniform related expenses as affordable as possible without comprising the quality of the clothing products.

The school jacket, bucket hat and cap are available through our school office. All other uniform items are available from The Warehouse (Bell Block store only).

SUMMER UNIFORM (Terms 1 and 4)

  • Boys: Grey shorts and grey polo shirtGirls: Red/Black/WhiteTartan skirt and white polo shirt
  • Red polarfleece with school logo
  • School black bucket hat or black cap
  • Black sandals (see pictures below)
  • School Jacket (optional)

WINTER UNIFORM (Terms 2 & 3)

  • Boys: Grey shorts and grey polo shirtGirls: Red/Black/White Tartan skirt and white polo shirt

Grey/red socks Red socks or black stockings

  • Red polarfleece with school logo
  • School black bucket hat or black cap
  • Flat black polishable or canvas school shoes (no colour markings and no white soles) – see pictures below
  • School Jacket (optional)
  • School Tracksuit pants (optional)

PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORM (compulsory)

  • Plain Black or CCC Red/Black sports shorts, School Red/Black PE sports top

JEWELLERY

For safety reasons it is inappropriate for jewellery to be worn at school. No nail polish is permitted.

Exceptions are:WristwatchSmall stud earing (no more than one studin each ear)

Taonga – to be worn under polo shirt

GENERAL

We recommend that a white or black thermal short sleeve top be worn under our polo shirts for extra warmth. It is not acceptable to wear t-shirts or halter-neck tops. These items will have to be removed.

The Manukorihi school jacket can be worn to and from school, in the playground or in class. Alternative rain jackets can be worn to and from school, but not in class.

UNIFORM PASS

A uniform pass will be given to students for incorrect uniform items. A note from home must be produced stating the reason why theincorrect uniform is being worn and also the length of time the pass is required (maximum one week). Students wearing incorrect uniform with no pass, will be asked to remove the item.
