Manufacture a Board Game

Create a board game that relates to TKAM. Make it fun and interesting…be creative.

  1. The novel must somehow be incorporated to the game. (Format, purpose, theme, end goal, etc.)
  1. Write directions for you game that would make it perfectly clear how to play the game. Make sure that you glue the directions to the back of the game board or neatly write them. The game/rules should be clear and functional.
  1. Make sure the content and difficulty of your game are appropriate to the novel and a pre-AP level class.

Think about different board games you know…Monopoly, Game of Life, Clue, Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?, etc. Decide if you will use cards, dice, bonuses, etc.

REMEMBER: Make your game board neat, colorful, interesting, and creative. You should probably do a little research and brainstorm some ideas before you start. Think of connecting theme, event, goal, etc. to the novel. Don’t forget a title….please don’t title it “TKAM GAME.”
