Manual for the Golden Motor Cruise Controller Program Software

A.  Enter a value for the continuous current for the motor. This setting must have a value between 1 and 50A. (Depending on the engine. See specifications of the engine)

B.  Enter a value for the peak current for the motor. This setting must have a value between 1 and 50A. (Depending on the engine. See specifications of the engine)

C.  You can set the motor type and choose between a BLDC motor and a DC motor.

D.  The fase shift depends on the number of turns of the coils in the motor.

E.  These options are only available if the Pedelec Sensor is connected to the controller. The intensity of the Pedelec Sensor can be set in the settings: Low, Medium and High.

F.  To set the direction of the Pedelec Sensor.

G.  This setting depends on the motor that is used.

H.  Enter a value for the speed with which the motor rotates in forward mode.

I.  To enable or disable the reverse mode.

J.  There are 2 options to choose from:

·  Immed (Immediate): allows Reverse to be switched immediately, even if the wheel is still turning in a forward direction.

·  Unimm (Unimmediate): the wheel must be stopped before the controller will allow Reverse to operate.

K.  Enter a value for the speed with which the motor rotates in reverse mode. (If activated)

L.  Enter a value for the force with which the motor regenerative brakes.

I. Open a previously saved configuration.

II.  Save the current configuration to use it another time.

  1. Connect de software met de controller.

IV.  Load the configuration from the controller.

V.  Configure the controller to the factory settings.

VI.  Disconnect the software from the controller.

VII.  Save the configuration to the controller.

VIII.  Close the program.
