Solar PV STC Assignment Form Instructions
Documents required to be sent to Osterley Investments WA Pty Ltd:
· 4 pages of the STC assignment form
· Copy of the Electrical Safety Certificate or Electrical Completion Notice
· Copy of panel serial numbers if not able to enter on assignment form directly.
· Invoice from the retailer to Osterley Investments (WA) Pty Ltd (the agent) for the value of the STC’s being claimed plus GST).
The value of the STC’s will be quoted by the agent. When the retailer accepts the quoted price and advises the agent of the number of STCs required to be assigned at that price the quoted price will be fixed provided all of the required documents are received within 30 days of the quoted price.
Note: The date on the STC assignment form cannot be prior to the installation date.
Payment for STCs to be made within 2 days of receiving the fully completed and correctly filled in required documents. The agent will notify the retailer if the supplied documents don’t meet the requirements as soon as possible.
Note:
Retailers providing a “point of sale discount” for the value of the STC’s to a customer who is NOT registered for GST should not add GST to the discount as showing on the customers invoice
Retailers providing a sale to a business/customer who IS registered for GST and is providing the quote with a “point of sale discount” for the STC value are required to invoice GST registered customers for the full amount without a discount for STC’s. The retailer will then require an invoice from the customer to the retailer for the value of the STC’s as quoted by the retailer plus GST. The retailer may be able to provide the customer a recipient created invoice to enable one invoice to reflect the same as the quote.
