TheResourcePoint module in ServicePoint provides a database in HMIS that contains information about your Agency and other service providers in your area. Ensuring that all resource information is current is important when other Agencies need to refer clients for services or need to contact you.
ResourcePoint makes it easy to find providers based on their name, location, and services they provideand a description about what they do, who to contact, and where to find them. To make sure this information is always valid, it is important that it be kept up-to-date.
Note that it is critical that the HUD Standards and Bed Unit inventory information is correct. This data is used for the Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR) as well as the HMIS APR. You will see how to review these screens later in this document.
This Helper Guide showsAdministrators how to review and update information about their Agency in ResourcePoint.
