North Air is responsible for providing into-plane fuelling services to major oil companies, including BP. We operate at 21 locations across the UK, where we carry out refueling activities to both commercial airlines and private flyers. We aim to provide safe, reliable and efficient into-plane services to our customers' satisfaction.
Job Purpose
To provide secretarial and administration support to the General Manager and direct reports (Management Team), to provide an external point of contact for North Air and to co-ordinate internal communications.
- Roles & Responsibilities:
Organise and co-ordinate meetings and training events on behalf of the Management Team and other stakeholders (e.g.Operations Integrity), preparing materials and equipment as required. - Managing meeting facilities on site in Gatwick, including booking and preparation of meeting rooms.
- Meeting and greeting (non-operational) visitors to Gatwick, providing general site induction as and when required.
- Reviewing and arranging updatesto the North Air web site on a regular basis,as and when required.
- Preparation and Distribution of Staff Communications.
- Creating and updating distribution lists for group communications.
- Providing support for ad-hoc travel arrangements for General Manager and Management Team, as required.
- Co-ordination of Quarterly Certificates and Awards.
- Co-ordination of staff Voucher scheme(s).
- Preparation of Monthly ‘Dashboard’ Reports.
- Dealing with general North Air correspondence, letters, emails etc.
- Providing cover as and when required for the HR Administrator.
Experience:
- Strong organisational skills.
- Previous experience in a PA/Secretarial/Admin role.
Self-starter with ability to manage own work schedule.
Good inter-personal skills, good communicator and able to work well in a team or on own. - Customer Focused.
Experience of preparing presentation and workshop materials (using PowerPoint). - Good attention to detail.
Capable of working to tight deadlines.
Competent PC/IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Experience of updating websites an advantage.
Education / Certifications / Languages and Competencies
Education / Certifications:
Good general level of educationis essential.
Higher academic qualification in a relevant subject area an advantage.
