Boost Your Business Workshop Overview

The Boost Your Business workshop program has a core flow and layout for each workshop designed to get Associates working and selling. This document will provide an overview of the core PowerPoint slides and flow that are included in every workshop.

Core Workshop Flow and PowerPoint Slides
The title slide will automatically include the sub-title inserted that corresponds with the workshop topic.See the 12 Week Program Outline or Workshop Library. /
The ‘Check In’ slide prompts you to conduct a group discussion where each Associate will review their sales activities completed since the last workshop. This will give you great insight about which Associates are on target, not committed, or struggling.
This activity should take a minimum of 20-30 minutes and should be the central part of your workshops. Expect and encourage the group to share techniques, success stories, andrecommendations on what to try next time. /
The ‘Meet the Expert’ slide allows you to schedule a guest speaker to demonstrate the specific sales skill or technique that pertains to the workshop topic.
Guest speaker should typically include top performing sales associates who have mastered the specific sales technique, tool, etc. covered in the workshop.
This slide is optional and you can delete it if you are not going to schedule a guest speaker. /

Core Workshop Flow and PowerPoint Slides
Depending on the workshop topic you selected from the 12 Week Program Outline or Workshop Library, there will be anywhere from three to eight slides that cover a specific sales skill, tool, method or technique.
Plan to take 15-20 minutes to cover these slides. Adjust as needed if you are having anexpert guest speaker conduct a demonstration. /
Since the spirit of these workshops is about doing and not telling, you should consider having call sessions as part of your workshops.
A class size of 10 or less you will need a minimum of one and a half hours. A class size of 10 or more will need two hours.
If you decide not to have a call session, simply delete this slide from your presentation. /
If you are doing a call session, use this slide to conduct a group discussion about the results.
Have flipchart, poster board, or white board available in the room to track all of the calls, leads and appointments.

The ‘Grow Your Skills and Business’ slide is a list of assignments for Associates to complete by the next workshop.
You will need to review and edit this slide for every workshop. Select the assignments that are most relevant, realistic and achievable by the next workshop. Edit the slide as needed. /
The ‘Sales Planner’ slide prompts you to conduct an activity that will help Associates develop results-driven planning habits.
Associates will identify, write down and commit to doing specific actions that will help convert their existing book of business.
For optimum results, this activity should be conducted at the end of every workshop. Itwillsignificantly help you conduct the ‘Check In’ at your next workshop.
