LETTER TO THE PARENTS:

The goal of the Xtreme FC coaching staff is to foster and build a good relationship with all of the

parentsof our players. We believe that parents are the greatest ambassadors for our

program and we want open communication with all of you in order to create and maintain a positive relationship. The entire coaching staff is committed to being knowledgeableand to providing a healthy and safe environment for your child to enjoy his/her involvement with our club. We need your support in order to achieve this.

The hardest job as a Coach is to make tough decisions in regards to proper training, practices, games, and appropriate discipline. The goal is to never hurt your child. Please be 100% assured that any soccer related decision made by the Xtreme FC coaching staff is never personal. It is solely based on what is believedto be best for the team and the program as a whole. Xtreme FC coaches are professionals and parents must trust that all of their decisions are made for the benefit of our club.

In an effort to create a baseline for parent’s expectations we have created the following set of guidelines that we are asking for your cooperation in adhering to:

1. Bench line-up/player position is not a discussible item. You may not agree with the Coaches decisions but, “parental coaching” during and/or after games confuses and distracts the players and shows disrespect for the coaching staff.

2. Practices are closed to the public. Parents/siblings/fans are asked to refrain from attending any open practices. This is done to prevent any potential problems with athletes/coaches.

3. Parents are asked to behave properly in the stands or on the sidelines during games. Abuse against Xtreme FC athletes/fans, opposing team members/fans, and Officials will not be tolerated. We expect all of our parents to behave the same way our athletes do, positively and professionally.

4. Parents are asked to obey a mandatory 24 hour “cooling off period” in situations where they disagree with a coaching decision. This is done in order to protect everyone involved. The Xtreme FC coaching staff will refrain from communicating with any parents until 24 hours have passed after a practice/game.

5. In the Xtreme FC Club, we ask that you follow the proper chain of command. This starts with the Head Coach. If you feel that your concerns are not being met, we then ask you to contact the Assistant Director Brandy. This is especially so in cases where there are issues with a member of the coaching staff and you feel the Head Coach is not hearing nor dealing with your complaints.

6. Parents need to communicate to coaches in advance if their child will miss an established practice/game/technical due to illness, family matters, school related matters or any other reason.

Thank you for your time and welcome to the Xtreme FC Soccer Club.
