Major Upcoming Events at the Temple:

We will continue Temple activities with some changes during the constructions. We always want to support Safety of our devotees first and therefore we have revised some activities during expansion project of the Temple.

Temple will celebrate Navaratri – Raas/Garba events from September 19th, 2009 thru September 27th, 2009 and request all Temple devotees to support following guidelines.

Navaratri Raas Garaba event is free to all Temple members.

Participants are requested to drop off their passenger at Temple and will have to park vehicle at Farmer jack parking lot (Corner of S. Canton Center Road at Cherry Hill Road) or at Old CVS lot (Corner of North Cherry Hill Road and East Sheldon Road). Please follow instruction from volunteers for parking. Keep these parking lots clean. Do not throw any trash.

Aarti will be performed in the beginning of the Garaba.

No classes during Navaratri celebration with an exception of Bal Vihar.

Only fruit or dry fruit Prasad will be served. A devotee who wants to bring offering are requested to bring fruit or dry fruit only. If you have any questions please see Temple management team member.

Chandi Haven is on Saturday, 09/26/09 from 9:30 AM to Noon and Kumari Pooja at 7 PM.

Vijya Dashami celebration is on Monday, September 28th. Temple will be open for all day for Darshan. Pooja and Aksharabhyas for children at 7:30 PM. No classes that day.

Sharad purnima Satya Naryan Pooja is on Saturday, 10/03/09 at 6:30PM

Rangoli & Fire works is on Saturday, 10/10/09 at 4:00 PM to 8 PM.

Dhan Teras Pooja on Thursday, October 15, and (Pradosh Pooja) start at 7:00 PM.

Maha Laxmi & Satya Narayan Pooja on Friday, October 16th starts as 7:00 PM. Pre-registration is preferred.

Deepavali on Saturday, October 17th. – Temple will be open all day for Darshan.

New Year- Annakoot celebration is on Sunday, October 18th - Temple stays open all day. There will be only one Aarti at 10:30 AM and then Curtain will stay open for Darshan. Bhog Prasad will be distributed at the door. Follow temple bulletin board and Website for more details. No Bal Vihar class that day.

Actual New Year and Bhai Dooj on Monday, October 19th.– Temple will be open all day

No classes during celebration of Deepawali festivals, from October 15 thru 19.

Tulsi Vivah on Saturday, October 31st, 10 AM to 1 PM.

Annual General Body meeting on December 6th at 10:30 AM.

During construction of the new Temple:

Temple devotees are requested to follow following guidelines to manage parking situation at the temple during construction.

Sunday morning prayer and daily activities will continue as usual. Because of the parking issues, the Sunday prayer will end 11:30 AM sharp including Aarati. After that the temple will be open for Darshan only. Devotees are requested to come to the Temple first and park at the Temple if parking space is available. If the parking lot is full then they will be requested to drop off their passenger and park at Canton Village Plaza shopping Center (Old CVS) Parking lot or at Farmer jack parking lot. This lot is located at South East corner of Cherry Hill road and Canton Center Road. Do not park at the new CVS store located at the corner of Canton Center Road and Cherry Hill.

Please do not block any one in the parking lot or do not park in the Fire lane.

In any event please do not park in the next door sub-division or at Blockbuster.
