3. Patients Feedback
The figures for the Friends and Family Test for June were as follows: - 2 Extremely likely to recommend the practice to friends and family 0 likely, 0 neither likely nor unlikely, 0 unlikely, 1 extremely unlikely and 0 don’t know.
5. SRG Report
CF reported that training had been given to SRG members on dealing with conflict and fraud and bribery. CCG projected finances for the next year outlined.
6. Other Reports
None.
7. A.O.B.
DW disclosed there had been a breach of confidentiality in that a prescription, which should have been sent to an outside pharmacy, was inadvertently sent to a committee member of Edwinstowe Community Group. The practice have followed all available measures and procedures, a letter of explanation and apology was sent to the patient for whom the prescription was intended, information was referred to the Governance Officer and it was found not to be a serious enough breach to be officially reported. Dr. Mikhail has logged the incident on the Information Governance site.
Dr. Gopi has asked if there are any practical ways for patients to contact PPG members by email or telephone. CF, DT and CH objected to giving personal email addresses or telephone numbers on the grounds of invasion of our privacy and that we are not qualified to deal with many the of queries which may arise. It was felt that contact through the surgery is adequate. To be discussed with the rest of the PPG at our next meeting.
Next meeting Wednesday the 7th September 2016 at 9.30 a.m.
