Job Title: Road Use & Third Party Coordinator –RQ 18-19
TAQA North is currently searching for a full time Road Use & Third Party Coordinator. Reporting to the Supervisor, Surface Land Administration the successful candidate will be responsible for issuance and monitoring of Road Use Agreements and Third Party Consent Requests. They will work closely with Surface Land Administrators, Surface Landmen, and Land Brokers and interact with others in the Commercial Department, as well as Field Operations, Accounting, Drilling, Facilities and Development Team personnel.
Road Use Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain TAQA road infrastructure in AB, BC and SK (where applicable);
  • Review Surface Land files to identify o/s road use issues/agreements/rates;
  • Monitor and coordinate all incoming road use requests;
  • Review accuracy of requests, correspond closely with Field Personnel on approvals and special conditions;
  • Issue road use agreements to Industry;
  • Keep all agreements and correspondence current within land database and physical records;
  • Monthly invoicing of road use maintenance fees;
  • Coordinate and respond to NoAs to align with proper billing months;
  • Invoice coding, disputes and reconciliation of all TAQA issued road use agreements;
  • Preparation of notices to industry advising of rate changes and road closures/bans;
  • Timely input and integrity of surface land database;
Third Party Responsibilities include;
  • Monitor and coordinate all incoming third party consent requests;
  • Review accuracy of requests, correspond closely with Field Personnel on approvals and special conditions;
  • Process consents within a timely fashion;
Qualifications:
  • Minimum seven years of work experience in Surface Land Administration with an Exploration & Production Company, with emphasis on road usage and associated agreements, third party agreements, surveys plan interpretation and processes associated with Notice of Assignments;
  • Proficient in Land & Mapping Computer Systems; CS Explorer, AbaData, Accumap, Energylink, Qbyte;
  • Knowledge of regulations affecting Road Usage and Third Party Consents and NoAs;
  • Strong communication & organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks & priorities is essential;
  • Demonstrates initiative, innovation, teamwork and ability to apply critical thinking to matters is an asset;
  • Effective follow-up and time management skills;
  • Land Administration Certificate or Land Diploma (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).
