Lunch Program at Heritage Learning Center

The Heritage Learning Center operates a lunch program on school days from 11:30am to 12:30pm from September 15thto May 15th (except for December 18th and 19th, May13thand the teacher appreciation luncheon day). Children from either the morning or afternoon 3 and 4 year old classes or pre-k classes may attend. Children in the two year old or fall 3’s program will need to wait another year to attend the lunch program. The program has two purposes. The first is to provide an extra hour of care for parents whose work schedule demands it. The second is to provide an extra hour for parents who occasionally require it for appointments, etc. In order to take advantage of this program, parents must have a signed lunch program agreement on file. A copy of this agreement is enclosed.

Some spaces in the lunch program will be reserved for children on a permanent basis. To reserve a permanent place for your child you will need to return the lunch program agreement and a check by September 1st. When parents have reserved a spot for the year the fee must be paid in accordance with the schedule on the lunch program agreement. This agreement is available to download from the web site: heritagebaptistonline.com and click on the learning center link.

The cost to reserve a spot for the year is:

M-W-F$ 594.00($198.00 per each of three installments)

T-TH$ 411.00($137.00 per each of three installments)

M-F$1,008.00($336.00 per each of three installments)

The remaining lunch spots are for children whose parents want their child to come occasionally. The spots may be reserved for up to two weeks in advance. Cost is $7.00/day. Parents wishing to make a reservation for their child to attend lunch must come in to the office and prepay for the spot.

We are sorry, but we are unable to make refunds or offer another day if children cannot come on the day they have a lunch reservation. Unfortunately, the school cannot accept the liability for changed plans, illnesses or inclement weather. Parents may reduce this liability by making a reservation and paying on the same day the child will attend lunch. (The only potential problem with this is that all spaces could be filled. This is usually more of a consideration on some days than others.)

It would be appreciated if payment for the lunch program were made by check, then we can be sure it gets credited to the correct account.

Please Note: Heritage is a NUT FREE Zone. Children are not permitted to bring peanut butter or other nuts to the lunch program to insure the safety of all children.
