You will need to attend all tryout/practice sessions. Absences and tardies will affect your performance. Please come every day and be on time.
It is very important that each candidate for Ola Cheerleading realize the amount of time and effort that must be put into this sport. A tentative summer practice schedule is provided on the website. Please realize the amount of dedication and commitment this sport takes.
On Thursday March 16th, the new squads will be fitted from 4-6 at OHS. On the same night, the parents of the new squads will be required to attend a meeting at 6:30 at OHS. Cheerleading Cost Agreement
The cost of cheerleading will be handled through a 5-step payment plan. If your child is selected to be a part of the 2017-2018 OHS Cheerleading Squads, you will be responsible for all payments being made on time. This is necessary for them to have the equipment needed to perform. The following is a run-down of the proposed payment plan. We have attempted to get these costs as close as possible to the actual cost. You will be notified of any cost changes before payment of your 5th and final due date. Remember we have scheduled a fundraiser that will help with your individual cost. We hope that this will help in some way.
Required Payments:
Payments Due Date Amount
1st payment 4-15-17 $200.00 (camp and practice clothes)
2nd payment 5-15-17 $200.00
3rd payment 6-15-17 $200.00
4th payment 7-15-17 $200.00 or balance owed*
5th payment 8-15-17 $balance owed
*The second, third, fourth and fifth payments will be adjusted to reflect the remaining
balance for each cheerleader.
**Alternative payment plans are available for extenuating circumstances. Please see the
Head Coach.
***If your cheerleader currently owes money from a previous season and they make a
team, they will not be allowed to order for the new season until that balance is paid
off.
