NHRA RULES AND REGULATIONS

FOR

CAMPING AND OVERNIGHT PARKING

  1. Fees -Parking/Campsite Fees paid toNHRA at the Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis (the “Raceway”) are non-refundable and do not include admission to the event. All event tickets must be purchased separately. Cost is $125 for the entire week of camping.
  2. Parking/Campsite Space–Each lot is 20 x 50 feet. Space is assigned on a first come basis. Saving of space will not be permitted without proof of purchase for the event. Space may be accessed starting12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 30thand must be vacated by noon on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016.
  3. Parking Permit–A valid Raceway parking permit must be displayed at all times on all vehicles for admission or re-admission to the camping lot.You are allowed one camper and one vehicle. Any additional vehicle will be charged $10 per day. Any vehicles found without a valid parking permit will be towed at the owner’s expense.
  4. Use - All vehicles including personal cars and guest vehicles must fit completely within the space provided. If anything extends outside the assigned space, it may be towed by NHRA at owner’s expense. The space may not be used for the purposes of vending, hawking, selling, soliciting or any other commercial purpose, in any form.
  5. Waste Removal -Port-o-lets and trash barrels are provided for your convenience. Water and Waste Removal is done through Aardvark Tidy Toilets (317-769-7202).IMPROPER DISPOSAL OF SANITARY WASTE AND/OR WASTE WATER IS PROHIBITED. VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED.
  6. Utilities -No electrical or water is provided to any space.
  7. Firearms and Weapons- Firearms or weapons of any kind will not be permitted on Raceway property.
  8. Speed Limit - 5 MPH speed limit will be enforced.
  9. Prohibited Vehicles - The use of ATV’s, dirt bikes, and golf carts is not permitted in the campground.
  10. Emergency Access - Fire lanes must remain open at all times.
  11. Signage Scaffolds and Platforms - All signage will be monitored. You will be requested to remove any signs that are deemed offensive or otherwise inappropriate, as determined exclusively by NHRA.Scaffolds and platforms will not be permitted in any space.
  12. Fires -Ground fires, campfires and open flames are prohibited. Fires in approved elevated devices (i.e., contained grills) are permitted.
  13. Fireworks - FIREWORKS OF ANY TYPE ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED. VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED.
  14. Consideration of Other Guests; Curfew; Generators - Toensures that all guests have a pleasant experience; each patron should act responsibly and be considerate of others. There will be an 11:00 PM curfew on all outside activities. Although there is not a generator “quiet time”, excessively loud generators may be required to be turned off during night hours.
  15. Laws - The use of the space is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, and the County of Hendricks. You must comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations and shall not permit any violation thereof by your guests.
  16. Insurance - Vehicles, and property contained therein, are parked by you at your sole risk and responsibility. You understand that NHRA will not insure your property and that NHRA assumes to responsibility whatsoever with respect to vehicles or other property left on the premises or damages caused by or to any areas adjacent to the premises. You should insure your property against all hazards. If you do not obtain insurance coverage for the full value of your vehicle parked and other property on the premises, you agree that you will personally assume all risk of loss, including damage or loss by burglary, fire, flood and vandalism. NHRA and NHRA’s agents, affiliates, authorized representatives and employees (“NHRA’s Agents”) will not be responsible for, and you hereby release NHRA and NHRA’s Agents from any responsibility for, any loss, liability, claim, expense, damage to property or injury to persons (“Loss”) whether the same could have been insured or not (including without limitation any Loss arising from the active or passive acts, omission or negligence of any party or of NHRA or NHRA’s Agents) (the “Released Claims”). You waive any rights of recovery against NHRA or NHRA’s Agents for the Released Claims, and you expressly agree that the carrier of any insurance obtained by you shall not be subrogated to any claim by you against NHRA or NHRA’s Agents.
  17. Limitation of NHRA’s Liability; Indemnity - NHRA and NHRA’s Agents assume no responsibility or liability to you or to any other person for any loss, liability, claim, expense, damage to property or injury to persons (“Loss”) from any cause, including without limitation, NHRA’s and NHRA’s Agents active or passive acts, omissions, negligence or conversion, unless the Loss is directly cause by NHRA’s fraud, willful injury or willful violation of law. You shall indemnify and hold NHRA and NHRA’s Agents harmless from any Loss incurred by NHRA and NHRA’s Agents in any way arising out of your use of the premises.
  18. Removal of Vehicles and Property - NHRAreserves the right to remove any vehicle or property from the premises if deemed necessary to ensure the safety of our patrons or otherwise deemed prudent in NHRA’s sole and absolute discretion.
  19. Rules and Regulations - NHRA shall have the right to make such other and further reasonably rules and regulations and may alter, amend or cancel any and all NHRA Rules and Regulations for Camping and Overnight Parking as, in its reasonably judgment, may from time to time be needed for the safety, care and cleanliness of the Raceway and for the preservation of good order the Raceway.
  20. NHRA’s Right to Cancel and Deny Access - NHRA reserves the right, at any time, whether or not the event has commenced, to unilaterally deny access or cause you and/or your vehicle(s) to be removed from the premises, if you do not comply with the NHRA Rules and Regulations for Camping and Overnight Parking, which shall be interpreted and enforced at the discretion of NHRA, and/or if you conduct yourself a manner inconsistent with the law abiding and wholesome family image of NHRA, which NHRA will determine in its sole discretion.
