Logging In
/ Use the following step action table when requesting an LSR.
Step / Action
1 / Go to
Use the login CLEC ID and Password that has been assigned to your CLEC.

Note-If the CLEC has forgotten their password or has not had a password assigned to them see page 8 for directions to obtain the correct password.

2 / The following screen appears. If requesting an LSR, select “New Request” located under LSR Request.

3 / The LSR Request Form appears. Complete the appropriate fields before submitting the LSR Request.

Note-The Red Bullet identifies all “Required” fields. Directions to locate “Field Definitions” see page 9.

4 / Once all fields are completed, click the “Submit” button.

Note- To clear ALL fields, the user may select the Reset button.
5 / After submission, the user will receive an LSR Request ID. This will be used if the user needs to make changes to their order.

Edit or Check Status of LSR
I want to make a change or check statusof my request!
/ Any order can be easily modified by following the step action table below. Notification for all FOC and Rejects will still be sent via e-mail but the CLEC’s may also check status of an order via Birch.com .

1 / The user should log in as they would to request an LSR. The User can click on “Edit LSR” located at the left hand side of the screen. The following screen will appear. The user can complete any one of the search criteria’s to pull up their LSR request. Click Search.

2 / The Account will pull up. The user should click on the Account Name in which they would like to modify.

3 / The order will pull up. The user should select the appropriate Sup Type from the Sup Type field. If a Sup Type is not selected the order will be rejected. Order Version will auto populate with the next version number.

4 / To resubmit a Sup’d Order, after all changes have been made, the user should click Submit. The following confirmation screen appears to notify that your request has been updated. The LSR Request ID will remain the same throughout the life of the order.

Need Password
What’s My Password?
/ Whether the CLEC has forgotten their password or a password needs to be assigned to them, it can easily be obtained by clicking on “Forgot User Password”
Step / Action
1 / Click on “Forgot Password&/User ID” or “Request User ID”`

2 / An e-mail will appear. Simply fill out the e-mail including your name, your company,and what information you need. Click Send.

Note-The password is assigned to the CLEC’s, not individuals.
3 / A Birch Representative will respond to the e-mail with the requestor’sUser Name and Password.

How do I fill this form out?
/ If the user is unsure what/how to populate the fields, they can simply click on “Field Defs” on the menu at the left hand side of the screen and a Help Guide will appear.
