Election of Officers FY 2003:
a. Larry Miller and Kay Watts completed their term as Co-Chairperson with this meeting
b. Cindy Lawrence and Tim Groman elected to serve as Co-Chairperson
c. Susie Andrews elected to serve as Secretary
d. Melissa Bender elected to serve as Assistant Secretary
New Business:
¨ Tim Groman informed the committee of a grant offered by MEMA to disseminate information on the LEPC plan.

¨ CEMP needs to be updated. The CEMP should be prepared in advance and should reflect the way things are to be done in an emergency. Each CEMP organizations need to submit their revisions to the Columbus-Lowndes Emergency Management Agency.
¨ Storm Nov. 10, 2002
Need list of emergency phone numbers for both agencies and facilities
Need volunteers for work details and Damage Assessment
Check on Mutual Aid Agreements
¨ The 2002 Tier II deadline in March 1, 2003. Lowndes LEPC will accept submittals to the address. The www.lowndesfire.org website has links to the EPA’s software for the Tier II Submit program.
MEMA will accept electronic submittals online www.msema.org at address.
¨ The TVA/ Regenesys facility submitted their draft “Emergency Action Plan- Chapter 11” for review. The members were asked to read and to make comments or changes where necessary.
¨ Weyerhaeuser will be planning a mutual aid drill and will want the agencies to respond. The December drill had to be postponed.
The next meeting will be March 19th at 1:00 PM at the Baptist Memorial Hospital – Outpatient Pavilion Conference Room.
