A. Reading of January 18, 2011 Commission meeting minutes
B. Update – Anthony Savarino d/b/a BB&K Setters LLC ($3,500.00) IC1002118, IC1002119, IC1002120, IC1002121, IC1002122, IC1002123, and IC1002124. Have not received any information from this company.
C. Update – James A. Boyd d/b/a Double B Mobile Homes LLC ($600.00) Mr. Boyd advised he will go and try to finish the home this weekend, but he needed 20-8ft straps that hook and wrap. Homeowner feels she has purchased enough material already. Advised both to send me a list of what they had and what was needed.
D. Update – Kathie Clement d/b/a CD&M Mobile Home Movers-Purchased 80 permits from August 2010-December 2010. Turned in Monthly Reports for September, October, and November 2010. 34 Permits matched the Monthly Report, 13 permits were not used, and 6 were from different months. There were 2 from January 2011.
E. Update – Ches Struben d/b/a Struben Mobile Home Movers – Dodson home
The Dodson’s home has not been corrected, and they have not been given their title.
F. License Reconsideration – The sales license of Casey Corley was denied due to his criminal background history. Mr. Corley called the office and should be at the meeting to address the issues.
G. License Reconsideration – The sales license of Brian Brown was denied due to his criminal background history. Mr. Brown called the office and should have paperwork to address the issues sent in.

- Gene Ballard d/b/a Gene Ballard Mobile Home Movers ($1600.00) – On September 30, 2010 investigator Ruven St. Pierre inspected this home and found it was not installed to code and had no permit sticker. On October 15, 2010 a fine letter was mailed out to the homeowner for $600.00. On November 17, 2010 a second demand was mailed out. On November 29, 2010 a third and final demand letter was mailed. On November 30, 2010 Mr. Matthew Populus’s mother called to say he accepted the mail, but it was not his. His home was the second one on the property. They gave me the property owner’s name and address. The property owner was fined, Mr. James Wright. On December 6, 2010 the correct owner of the home Mr. Derrick Perkins called to say he owned the home and purchased it from a lot in Port Allen and they were responsible for the installation. Advised we needed that in writing with any proof he had. He also stated a Mr. Ballard installed the home. After receiving paperwork and pictures from Mr. Perkins, Mr. Gene Ballard was fined for being unlicensed, improper install, and not permit sticker. SAA Sammy Hoover issued a Cease & Desist on January 10, 2011. On January 20, 2011 Mr. Ballard obtained an installer’s license and on January 21, 2011 a fax was received into LMHC office indicating the home had been corrected. On February 1, 2011 investigator Ruven St. Pierre inspected the home and found it was corrected with a permit sticker on it. Mr. Perkins was issued a subpoena.
