Announcements & Public Comment –

·  Christina announced that the Library will be located in the old science area of the core building for the six week summer session. This is due to air conditioning work.

·  The Camp Course Outline schedule for summer is out. It will be emailed to all faculty soon. (and also put into campus mail boxes). Please let everyone know this camp is available for writing course outlines.

·  Pete came by to thank the entire committee for all the hard work this semester on curriculum.

·  Nancy and Janice received “Camp Course Outline” shirts.

·  Janice reflected on the great work and leadership of Nancy in her many capacities at LMC and that she will be greatly missed. A book is circulating for members to sign for Nancy.

Fall Calendar –

The Fall meeting dates are: Sept. 2, 16; October 7, 21, November 4, 18, December 2nd. If there are more than 30 course outlines for review the meetings will be extended to 3:30 p.m. to get through the entire agenda. The Yellow, Blue and Red group review was successful and will be continued in the Fall.

Distance Education – The position paper for Distance Education was tabled.
