4.MATTERS ARISING

4.1POLICE REPORT

No Police present Steve Dolan is taking over.

Is one Police Force working? - so many changes.

4.2 Planning Report

Presentation by Hector Black of Covell Mathews on behalf of Cruden Homes East Ltd for redevelopment of a site at 69-97 Inglis Green Road as 60-65 apartments.

- Planning Boards were shown.

2007 Site first planning . Sheltered housing pulled out.

2010 Crudens - 60 units. No retail units. Parking and refuse factored in.

Hillcrest Housing Association involved:

Rented accommodation. Social needs people coming off waiting list. Managed by local office

garden area etc. planned.

Why not parking for every house. Social rent only requires 20% (42 parking spaces.)

Garage using car parking spaces. They only have a couple of spaces allocated. How can this be managed. It is private land. Is it open or secure parking? Can only secure disabled spaces.

Millbrae Wynd will be closed off. Play area on plan access from Redhall Crescent.

Hillcrest - social housing will allocate as appropriate. Have a transfer policy if all rooms are not

used.2, 3 and 4 storey high. Hope to start 2015.

102 Kingsknowe Road North - presently an abandoned office change of use to a Takeaway class 3.

4.3 Neighbourhood Partnerships

Pentlands: Next meeting 16th December.

South West: Cheque for £1700 received. Notify Craig Dunlop.

4.4 Environmental Issues

Waiting for ramp to be installed at bus stop outside Longstone Inn.

Council want an arrangement with Virgin Media for cleaning off Graffiti.

Vennel off Redhall Drive that floods. Steuart is going to have a meeting to see if land can be sloped.

Leaking from canal aqueduct - water still running across pavement, will cause a lot of damage when it freezes. Scottish Canals to be asked about this.

4.5KINGSKNOWE ROADHOUSE

Written again, but no improvement in appearance.

4.6 Food Bank

More people attending - only open on Monday mornings. Donations can be handed in at Slateford/Longstone Church.

7.A.O.C.B.

Food Van beside Village Inn, seems to have gone, but has been replaced by a wooden structure.

Still Parking on double yellow lines on way to Sainsbury's after Village Inn. Signs up saying No Parking.

Dovecot Park - There have been a number of break- ins. Stealing garden tools and house break-ins. 24th November. Climbingup on garden furniture and entering by first floor window.

Secretary will telephone Police and ask what they are doing about.
