Long-lasting freshness and ideal temperature – now by induction also
Chafing Dish Induction Plus from Hepp offers flexibility and convenience
Hepp is making its chafing dishes even more flexible with the new "Induction Plus" series, which can now be heated by induction field in addition to normal hotplates and fuel. The elegant chafing dishes thereby achieve the best results on makes from all kinds of manufacturers and perfectly complement the creative possibilities of an induction buffet. The beautifully stylish chafing dishes are available in both round and square variants and can accommodate GN containers of up to 10 centimetres in depth. However the models in the Induction Plus series also achieve optimal heat distribution with the use of hotplates and gelled alcohol. They also impress guests and staff alike with their simple handling. Thanks to the innovative and long-lasting brake mechanism, the lid opens and closes particularly gently. The handles are heat-resistant, while the materials (including inserts and removable glass lids) are simple to clean and dishwasher-safe. The condensate recirculation system also ensures long-lasting freshness.
The real highlight of the Induction Plus series can be found in the bottom of the models. The aluminium core, which guarantees even and quick heat distribution, is encapsulated in ferromagnetic stainless steel. Because of this, the chafing dishes achieve optimal performance when heated by induction or by means of a hotplate and gelled alcohol. The lid, with its glass design, means guests can view the food without having to open the lid of the chafing dish. This not only increases the convenience of the buffet but also reduces moisture and heat loss, saves energy and helps food stay fresh. The condensate recirculation system also contributes to this.
Besides giving a transparent view of what is on offer, the lid of the Induction Plus series has a further bonus - an innovative braking mechanism which allows for exceptionally smooth opening of the chafing dish and which cushions the lid as it moves to ensure a particularly soft closure. The brake can be adjusted to individual needs. The lid and brake are simply removed for cleaning and can even be placed in a dishwasher. The chafing dish itself is also dishwasher-safe.
The Induction Plus series boasts four models in a round and square 2/3 GN size for inserts of up to ten centimetres in depth. Matching buffet racks as well as stainless steel and porcelain inserts are also available. The range is rounded off by cutlery holders with a coordinated design and stylish serving cutlery.

About Hepp
The Hepp company, based in Birkenfeld near Pforzheim, is one of the leading international providers of tableware. The company uses highly specialised manufacturing processes to produce the world's most diverse range of tableware and serving equipment - from cutlery, coffee pots and the like to chafing dishes and food distribution systems. Material and workmanship are to the fore, but the design, quality and high level of functionality of Hepp products leave nothing to be desired either. Brothers Carl and Otto Hepp founded the company back in 1863 under these premises and are therefore rightly considered the inventors of hotel silver. The traditional values of reliability and quality still apply today and form the basis for the success of the company in combination with innovative strength, the development of new processes and products and flexible manufacturing. Globally, Hepp is one of the preferred outfitters of leading hotels, hotel chains and restaurants, as well as quality-conscious major catering firms, international cruise lines, airlines and railway companies.
