Interviews
A few days after the application deadline, all team leaders will be contacted to set up your team’s face-to-face group interview. These informal meetings are conducted by youth volunteers from United Way’s London Life Youth United Advisory Council.
The interview is an opportunity to work together to make your project the best it can be. More importantly, it gives you a chance to explain how you expect your project to work and tell us why United Way should fund your project.
Anyone listed as a team member is welcome to participate. In order to ensure projects are completely youth driven, United Way asks that any adults attending this meeting do so as observers.
All projects must participate in an interview to be considered for funding. Interviews are typically half an hour in length.
United Way London & Middlesex invests in projects (operational expenses only) that are youth-initiated, youth-led and active in nature.
Projects that do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
