The London Leadership Strategy (LLS) is a not-for-profit organisation run and led by serving Headteachers. The organisation is born of the London Challenge and today works to keep its spirit and mission alive.

Every year – at primary and secondary level – more than 500 schools access programmes from LLS across London and beyond. Our programmes are delivered by schools for schools and we have funding from Department for Education, charitable trusts, local authorities and schools themselves.

LLS’ programmes are expanding rapidly. We are now one of the largest providers of school-to-school support across England and we have an extensive network of schools in London and across the country.

LLS works to improve outcomes for children and young people across all our programmes. We also run specific programmes around improving outcomes and provision for children and young people with SEND.

We are offering paid internships to work across a diverse mix of activities as a key part of ourHead Office Team. You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can think on your feet, solutions-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced team where no two days are the same. This is an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of the workings of a not-for-profit organisation and of schools and the disciplines of project management, events management, marketing and communications. There are great development opportunities for the right person.

We are open to applications for part time or full time options and for either 3 month or 6 month placements in first instance. Please specify this in your covering letter.
