Reminders/Requests
*In the next few days, you will be receiving an appointment slip for a conference date. Conferences will be held on Nov. 9, 10, & 11th. Please indicate on the form whether or not the appointment time will work. If not, we will do our best to find a time that works better.
*Please return your October reading logs at the end of the month. Your child will be able to visit the treasure chest as a reward for reading with you at home.
*Remember that the sight word books and math activity books that you receive from time to time are for you to use at home with your child. Please take some time to review them with your child. You do not have to return them to school. Thank you!
*As the weather gets chilly and the season continues to change, please make sure that your child has a jacket and/or sweatshirt for morning arrival, recess, and afternoon dismissal. Also, sweatpants are a good idea on P.E. days. Please label all articles of clothing with your child’s name. If you have purchased uniforms from the used uniform sale, please make sure that the clothing has your child’s name clearly labeled on the clothing.
*Please review all of our sight words with your child every day. Please make sure that they are visible somewhere in your home. Also, please help your child practice his/her handwriting while using the Zaner Bloser handwriting methods. We have learned how to write the following letters: Ff, Bb, Mm, Aa, Kk, Tt, and Rr.
