What we will be doing:

We will be partnering with UK-USA Ministries ( to take the gospel to students and children in Northern England. We will be hosting Sports Camps, Park Block Parties, Bible Clubs and Serving Local Churches in order to share the Gospel. Mike Taylor, the director of UK-USA Ministries and local pastor, will be providing lodging and meals at our host homes for the week. Our students will stay in host homes of church leaders and ministry staff for the week. Idlewild will rent mini-buses for all transpiration, while country.

We will also plan to spend one day and evening in London. This will require the group to travel by train into the city. We will have a guided tour and allow time for some shopping.

  3. TURN IN a Mission Trip Application before 3/21
  4. REGISTER online at and pay the non-refundable deposit

Packing and Travel Information

  • Passport Required (Make at least 1 copy of your passport and place in checked luggage)
  • Only 1 checked bag on the flight
  • We may ask you to check an additional ministry bag
  • Clothing:
  • Casual dress all week
  • Pack comfortable, athletic clothing for ministry projects
  • Dress warm for morning and evenings (Hi’s in 60’s, Low’s in 40’s)
  • At least one pair of closed-toed shoes
  • You will be given one ministry shirt to wear for the week
  • Currency Exchange: you can exchange currency prior to departure. However, we will have several opportunities to exchange currency while in country.
  • Any heavy medication (prescription meds) need to be packed in checked luggage
  • UK Power Converter is required for electrical devices (we will have a few to lend out)
  • Pack one refillable water bottle for ministry project days
  • At Customs in England it is extremely important when you are asked “reason for your trip”, that you reply “We are on holiday”.
  • Do not mention “Church”, “Mission Trip”, Missionaries”, etc.
