Thank you for your recent application for the role of Disability Support Worker at Scope.
I am delighted to advise you that we would like to invite you to attend an interview! The interview will be held:
Date:Monday 23rd January 2017
Time: 11.00am to 1.00pm
Location: Calkendren Respite, 209 Otway St South, Ballarat East
The interview is a group based interview process, which not only allows us to provide you with information on Scope and the recruitment process and asses your suitability for the role, but also allows you to meet the people you may potentially be working along side!
Below you will find more detail about what to expect on the day, what to bring with you and answers to some questions you may have.

Please be advised that as this is a group interview we are not able to change the date or time. If you cannot attend the interview we will contact you if any similar positions become available in the near future we think you may be suitable for.
Values Based Group Interviewing

This means that we look for the values in our employees, rather than just focusing on experience or qualifications that someone may have. Before the interview you will be registered and we will collect the relevant forms form you (please see the below section on ‘What to Bring”).
After that we will provide you with a short presentation on what a life in the day of a Scope Disability Support Worker looks like and how our recruitment process works, ask you to complete a short written assessment and then get you interacting with other candidates in a series of group discussions.

What to Bring:
- A completed copy of your “Candidate Interview Registration Form”, found here: Click Here
- 100 points of ID including one photo ID
- Proof of your right to work in Australia, so an Australian Passport, Citizenship Certificate, Birth Certificate or if you are on a visa bring your visa details and your passport.
*Please note that Scope conduct email reference checks so you must provide valid email addresses for your referees. Exceptions may be made for this if you contact us prior to the interview. Otherwise please make sure you bring the ‘Candidate Interview Registration Form’ completed.
What to Wear:
Wear what you would as if you were working as a Scope Disability Support Worker! So casual smart meaning jeans and t-shirts are good, so are runners. Please remember that there will be some movement as part of the activities so please wear closed toe shoes (no thongs or sandals) and keep in mind not to wear anything that will restrict your movement.
