Vacancies available: 1 Project Coordinator, 1 Marketing Officer

Location – All positions will be based inMunger (Bihar)

SEWA Bharat is looking for motivated male/female applicants to fill two positions in a new project, to be implemented in association with ITC in Munger district of Bihar. The objective of the project is to create a sustainable solid waste management solution for developing clean and healthy Munger district. The project will focus on developing a system of waste collection and disposal from door to door to processing site, ensure segregation of waste and converting biodegradable waste into organic manure, sensitize community to contribute towards creating a healthier and greener environment.

Details of positions, responsibilities and qualifications required are as under:

  1. Position:Project Coordinator (1opening)

Job Profile: The candidate will lead a project on solid waste management in Munger, Bihar. The candidate will responsible for all aspects of planning, implementation, monitoring of solid waste management project. The candidate should be guiding the entire team and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.He/she would be in-charge of project documentation, generating monthly, quarterly and annual reports and report to HO. The person will have to travel at times to SEWA’s other locations for learning from local experiences.

Essential Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Masters in Rural Management, Masters in Social Work or similar degree
  • Ability to work independently and lead a large team.
  • At least 3 years of experience in program management, including budgeting, preference will be given to those who has experience in waste management
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Hindi

Remuneration: INR 25,000 to 30,000 per month (open to negotiation based on work experience), travel reimbursement as per project provision.

  1. Position: Marketing Officer (1 openings)

Job Profile: The candidate must be self driven and have leadership skills with positive outlook. He/she will be responsible for finding markets for vermicompost. He/she should be guiding the team on a regular basis and developing suitable strategies for achieving the set targets. He/she should be updating the project coordinator on a regular basis on achievements, plans and strategy.

Essential Qualifications/Requirements:

  • MBA in Marketing or relevant degree.
  • Minimum two years of work experience.

Remuneration: INR 10,000 to 12,000 per month (open to negotiation based on work experience), travel reimbursement as per project provisions.
