This contract is for rental of both floors event spaces, including the Perkins room.
The base rate for this reservation is $3,100.00 (this inludes use of our tables and chairs, linens, and a time for rehearsal)
Reservations:
A fifty percent (50%) deposit of the base rate is required to hold a date for your event. The balance is due no less than 30 days prior to the event.
All payments must be made by the specified due dates or by the event (if arranged ahead of time) or all deposits will be forfeited and the event deemed cancelled.
Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Pets are not allowed (unless a certified service dog)
- No permanent or temporary fasteners may be used to hang anything
- No open flame candles of any kind. Only battery operated candles allowed due to insurance purposes.
- No confetti
- No smoking indoors
- Bubbles are only acceptable OUTSIDE
- No use of paint, glue, or any other substance that could adhere to anything inside the facility
- Do not damage the facility in any way
- Children are to remain in the rented space only, and are NOT allowed on the stages.
Alcohol:
Alcohol is permitted to be catered in or brought in by the rental party. Kindred Venues LLC. Is not liable for any accidents or injuries. If alcohol is going to be served during an event, an extra charge will be added to provide security for the event.
Smoking:
This is a NON-smoking facility. Absolutely no smoking indoors.
Catering:
Catering is permitted and encouraged. A list of our preferred caterers will be provided, but you are welcome to use any catering service you prefer.
Cleaning Responsibility of the Party:
- All trash is to be bagged and placed in the containers provided.
- All floors are to be swept.
- All spills are to be mopped, wiped, or cleaned up.
- A cleaning crew may be used for a prearranged fee of $300.
Cancellation Policy:
Reservation fees of 50% of monies due are non-refundable.
Postponements and date changes:
Changes to your event date must be made no less than 30 days prior to the event.
Rehearsal:
(For weddings only) A 3 hour rehearsal, normally the Thursday prior to your event, is included. We will contact you 2 weeks prior to your event to coordinate and schedule the time.
Provided services included in your price:
Kindred Venues LLC will provide up to _____ round tables, ______folding chairs, and black or white table cloths. We will set up the tables and chairs per your request, we will also tear down and store all tables and chairs afterwards. Garbage liners will be provided. An ice machine will be provided. A Stereo system will be furnished, although you must provide the music to be played. Also, a place for a band to set up, should you choose to hire one.
Well behaved children are always welcome at The Venue, and must be supervised by adults at all times and must not be allowed to run around unattended. Special attention should be given to children regarding the staircase. Children are not allowed on the stages whatsoever unless they are a member of the bridal/grooms party.
Kindred Venues LLC shall not be held responsible for any loss, stolen, missing, or damaged property incurred by you or your guests.
Guests agree to release and hold Kindred Venues LLC harmless, including any attorney fees and costs incurred, from all claims, demands, suits or judgements from use of the building or outdoor areas. These include, but not limited to, any damages incurred, injury, or even death. Guests of the event party should know, and understand that the entrance to the upper level of The Venue is not ADA handicap accessible, due to its historic significance, but every effort has been made to make it as accessible as possible. Kindred Venues LLC shall not be held responsible for any power failures, equipment failures, or inclement weather, which may occur prior to or during any event.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
We reserve the right to make changes to any policy or procedure at any time.
Kindred Venues LLC does offer a 10% discount off the rental fee to active duty military personnel. In order to receive this discount, the bride, groom, or person signing this contract and paying for the fees, must provide an active duty military ID. Thank you for your service.
