Great clubs provide strength to United States Masters Swimming. The Club of the Year Award seeks to recognize clubs that exemplify the core objectives of USMS: to Serve, Educate, and Build the membership.

Directions: Complete this form. In addition, submit a ONE-PAGE letter further explaining why your club should be selected as a USMS Club of the Year. Please refer to the Club of the Year Information document located on the USMS Awards web page for more information. Submission deadline: July 1.

Serve the Membership

How many coached workouts does your club offer its members each week? How many workouts are held without a coach on deck?

Are your coaches USMS certified? If so, how many, and what coaching level are they?

List sanctioned events your club hosts on a regular basis and indicate how many participants are in each event.

List LMSC, Zone, or National events your club has hosted or organized.

How does your club promote USMS fitness events to members – and what fitness events has your club participated in?

List club members who contribute to the LMSC as board, committee, or task force members, etc.

List club members who serve (or have served) at the Zone and/or National levels and include their positions and years served.

Does your club provide recognition for its swimmers and volunteers and if so, describe such recognition.

Educate the Membership

How does your club promote education for swimmers and coaches?

List activities your coaches and/or other club members participate in that educate themselves and also benefit your club, such as clinics, coach certification classes, and attending conventions.
