Action

  1. Minutes
/ Bottom p.1 corrected to say “key members” not “focus areas”
Clarification – see “by end of July 2010”. 1st line read “April 2011” not Easter
Corrected last sentence 1st paragraph item 4 “look at short term actions but plans for med & long term”
Item 3
p.2 “both are active members of the group”
p.3 Definitely 14th July meeting
2. Matters Arising / PS highlighted the need to add “local” to our title –Rushmoor LCP. Agreed by all.
3. Terms of Reference / 3rd Bullet add “ and report on the progress to Rushmoor L Strategic P and Hants Children’s Trust” PS requested. All Agreed.
4. Membership / LL explained the range of variety of membership across Hants does not have to be the same in all. Key aspect of all LCPs is that all levels communicate with each other. The recent communication which went out inviting people to join went out without LL and PS’s awareness. LL and PS are clear that the current membership is representative and nominated by colleagues. LL and PS are confident that we represent the Core Bodies needing to be members.
It is encouraging that there is a positive mood in the community about membership.
There is a danger that a LCP can get too big. All agreed that other bodies can be invited or ask to be invited to cover relevant agenda items.
  1. Links to existing delivery groups.
/ a)Mark Sammes[Chair Rush EIP] drafted out a similar “link overview” so JA offered an adaptation of this as a draft.
b)CRITICAL INCIDENT MAPPING STATUS
Gold = HCC Childrens Trust & RSP
Silver = Rushmoor Local Strategic Partnership
Bronze = Wards
Peter A and CD sit on the RSP but all agreed that JA or JB should sit on the RSP.
All agreed the aim is to remove overlap and reduce the number of groups.
ACTION
Which of these groups can be rationalised into overarching groups i.e. which sit beneath EIP?
Paper issued to be noted and comments fed back to JA/JB by email.
Please note Rushmoor Hants Children’s and Families now called Rushmoor Exchange
  1. Finance
/ We have been all allocated £10,000 for admin and start-up costs
LL nominated Grange School as banking School.
RCPPG needs to decide how to spend it.
All agreed it should facilitate the admin platform in the CYPP model. Models were discussed
Agreed to support Grange Admin extra hours as well as Project start-up and cost of Standing Conferences.
  1. Creating the Plan
/ Hants Children’s Trust Delivery Plan for RLCP circulated
p3. Our vision can be inserted
Needs Assessment can be based on CYPP Priorities.
All agreed that past and ongoing admin costs (incl. Repro) be tagged by JA and be reimbursed from £10k.
Group given time to peruse the CYPP ie. p16. NEET data updated ie. Rushmoor data at 10.51% whereas Hants = 5.51%
Q=Do we want NEET project to be a priority for us?
All agreed we would like more detail on the actual data pertinent to Rushmoor.
All agreed to CYPP Priorities can be collated into our new Delivery Plan.
PA explained the background of the CYPP
-Some have already been delivered so not all are now relevant.
PA fed back on which priorities achieved
Q=Which of these would we like to maintain and make more sustainable?
Members discussed the priorities we feel should be retained in the new Delivery Plan for 2 terms and is achievable by Easter. JH captured electronically.
Q=Which of these do we prioritise for next 2 terms and which long term?
8. Dates of Future Meetings / Wednesday 14 July 2pm, Aldershot Police Station.
Wednesday 15 September, 2pm, Aldershot Police Station.
